Dr. Katz began her education at Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, Romania, in the school of dentistry. Upon completion of her studies there, she graduated the orthodontic program at the dental school of Bucharest. Wanting to be the very best possible, Dr. Katz continued her orthodontic education at the University of Washington and finished three additional years of specialty training at the school of dentistry.
Following the advice of her father, who is a dentist, Dr. Katz decided to become an orthodontist at a young age. “He said that orthodontics is the best profession in the world. I believed him and pursued my career in orthodontics.” Dr. Katz loves working with children and teenagers “because they are so inspiring, positive, and playful,” noting that “my favorite thing is to see them at the end of treatment with a gorgeous smile.”
In her free time, Dr. Katz loves to paint and spend time with children. “One day, I hope to organize painting events for the younger ones so we can spread the magic of creativity and color in all families.”
She and her husband, Danny, love the Pacific Northwest, where they met, and hope to create miracles in the communities around them.
